Just one week left until the 57th edition of the Salone del Mobile.Milano – the most important international event in the world of design and furnishing, which takes place between 17 and 22 April. DANISH™ is making things easier for you with this guide of must-see Danish designers that are going to be there.
Fredericia will present Spine Metal – a chair series for dining, lounge and bar areas as well as Tableau – a series of marble/wooden tables.
You will also see the relaunch of the iconic Spanish Dining Chair designed by Børge Mogensen in 1964, back in a gently updated version.

For Republic of Fritz Hansen, 2018 is the year for designer collaborations. They welcome six new designers to their family of furniture, lighting and accessories.

House of Finn Juhl
House of Finn Juhl will be relaunching the 48 series, consisting of the 48 chair and the 48 sofa-bench as part of a setup named ‘The Study of an Art Collector Anno 2018’. The series will be displayed alongside some of the most classical and iconic pieces, such as the Chieftain chair, the Poet sofa, the Kaufmann table, and the Panel system.

Event: You are welcome to join them for wine hour every day, and meet the company owners Ivan Hansen and Henrik Sørensen who own the legal rights to manufacture Finn Juhl’s furniture.

OEO Studio is launching their first collaboration with Mutina during this year’s Salone del Mobile. Mutina will bring their creative and lifestyle vision to the interior architecture field with Accents, a new interior design project in collaboration with OEO Studio.

While being in Milan, don’t miss the chance to visit famous exhibition MINDCRAFT, where 17 of Denmark’s leading makers and designers are going to present their works.
MINDCRAFT is an internationally recognised, award-winning exhibition showcasing some of Denmark’s most talented craftspeople and designers during the annual Milan Design Week. The flagship exhibition is organised by the Danish Arts Foundation and the Agency for Culture and Palaces. This year, the exhibition focuses on materiality and aesthetics and is curated by Danish designer Ditte Hammerstrøm.
