We continue our series of graduation project with graduate architect Louise Linthwaite from Aarhus School of Architecture:

Louise Linthwaite’s work throughout her Master’s programme has had the prevalent theme of phenomenology and the influence of the senses on architecture. She is fascinated by the interconnection between the human body, mind and the spaces in which we dwell. Studying in Denmark has given her the chance to experiment with the process of architectural design, which she believes is fundamental to discovering individuality and remaining creative in the design process.

This is a study of a ruin, its revitalisation, and relationship to the city and the body; executed by the exploration of fragmented contextual devices across the mediums of models, reliefs, collage, and drawing.

The goal of DANISH™ is to promote Danish architecture and design in a broad perspective, and demonstrate all the potentials in these fields.
