The Danish design fair northmodern is almost here! From 13 August to 15 August, Copenhagen’s Bella Center will be buzzing as design enthusiasts from all over the world gather to see the latest ideas from the Scandinavian design scene.

The northmodern fair offers more than an opportunity to visit cool brands and learn the latest news. Designdenmark is behind an interesting line up of speakers. We are definitely planning to attend talks by Tom Dixon, GXN, OeO and NY Times design critic Alice Rawsthorn.

This year will also feature a section called the Gallery. Here, you will find the ‘Talent’ area, which will focus on upcoming designers (both new and established) and graduates. We encourage you to spend some time in this area because it is always inspiring to meet talented people and know who the new cool kid on the block is.

In the Gallery area, you will also find the ‘Special Projects’ area. Of course, we have to highlight this area because it is where you will find us and our ‘Re-Framing Danish Design’ exhibition. In addition, you can visit Georg Jensen Living, One Collection and We Do Wood.

Another section is the ‘Room’ area, in which you will find all the Danish design brands you already know and a few newcomers, such as Anour, Lind DNA and Herman Cph. All these brands will present the latest news from the Nordic design scene. Please Wait to be Seated, MUUTO, dk3, Nomess, Vasanthi and WOUD are also worth a visit.

We are excited to welcome another round of northmodern in Copenhagen.
