The company was established in 1916 by cabinetmaker I.C.A. Jensen. It started as a traditional cabinetmaker, but over the years has evolved to include the production of architect-designed furniture.
In 1978, brothers Knud and Vagn Andersen bought the company and established Brother Andersens Cabinet Making, where they continued to produce architect-designed furniture of the highest quality. 14 years later, the next generation of the company emerged in the guise of Jørgen Andersen, who has the responsiblity for sales and marketing. Another 11 years later, Jørgen Andersen was joined by his younger brother Henrik, who became the IT and financial manager of the company, which has grown considerably since its founding, and so in 2007 the company moved into new facilities at its current address in Hinnerup.
In 2012, Poul Frandsen joined the company’s management, which he currently manages together with the two brothers.
